In line with our commitment to offer healthy meat products to end consumers, we started our broiler growing operations in 2002. Though at a small scale, the farming of broilers allowed us to better assess our poultry nutrition products. With the same quality control and hygiene standards as our breeding facilities, our broiler operations have added great value to the business.
Broiler growing has come a long way since the early days. The company uses environmentally controlled broiler houses for farming broilers. This not only allows us to achieve superior weight gains but also helps us keep the birds away from external elements that might negatively affect their health and performance. This further helps us ensure that our birds are feed completely natural and antibiotic free diets.
In line with its long-term objectives, Agbro has plans to expand its current broiler farming capacity so that we may serve the ever growing population.
